Forge, built originally as a large estate smithy, later became a commercial
forge making spades. Now disused. 1767, extended c.1830-40. Roughly-coursed
stone with dressings. Welsh slate and concrete tile roof. 2 storeys. In 2
sections.
Older section to left, 4 bays with steps to 1st floor boarded door in second
bay. Shuttered windows. Steeply-pitched roof with flat coping. Brick end
stack and ridge stack.
Lower C19 right section 5 bays, with stone steps to boarded door in centre bay.
Left bay has boarded double doors. 4th bay has boarded double doors in Tudor
arch with keystone. Shuttered windows.
