Relief lettering, the last 2 lines cut on the door lintel. Late C19 sash
windows in cement surrounds. Rendered ridge and end stacks.
Left return shows 1st floor opening, now glazed but perhaps originally a door,
with chamfered surround and hoodmould. Early C19 wing to left. Rear elevation
shows round-headed stair window with radial glazing and former 2-light mullioned
window, above roof of later outshut.
Interior: South end wall of 2.6 metres and an internal cross wall of similar
thickness on north of entrance passage suggest the existence of a medieval
tower. Blocked chamfered door on south of entrance passage. Mid C18 stair
with panelled newel post, moulded grip handrail and column-on-vase balusters;
similar stair-head balustrade.
