Recumbent graveslab, 1854. Relief cross fleury in mid-C13 style, double-
chamfered surround with latin inscription to Rev. John Hodgson and his wife Jane.
Hodgson was author of 'a history of Northumberland' (1820-58) and co-operated
with Sir Humphrey Davey in the production of the Safety Lamp.
