Post Office, mid-C19 remodelling of C18 single-storey cottage. Squared
stone with tooled-and-margined quoins and dressings; Welsh slate roof. 2-
storeys, 3 bays, irregular. Left-of-centre renewed panelled door with
transomed stair window above; on right shop front with 5 steps up to old
half-glazed doors flanked by 6-pane fixed windows. Other windows 4-pane
sashes. All openings in chamfered surrounds; all except stair window under
shouldered arches. Roof verges overhang eaves; end stacks with stepped
cresting. Returns show reverse-stepped coping of gable ends of C18 cottage,
that to right with blocked window.
