Former schoolmaster's house for Tomlinson school. Early C19. Tooled stone;
blue slate roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays. Top-glazed 6-panel door in second bay
boarded door on far right; 12 pane sashes, that on ground floor left lost,
glazing bars. All windows in chamfered surrounds with slightly-projecting
sills. Coped right gable; stepped-and-corniced ridge and right end stacks.
