Cottage. Dated 1658 with C20 alterations and additions. Coursed squared
ironstone, thatch roof, red brick end stacks. 2-unit plan. 2-storey, 2-window
range. Basement or cellar door to right of centre with plank door, pegged wood
surround and wood lintel. 1-light casement window to ground floor left, 2-light
casement to ground floor right and small 1-light window to first floor left, all
with wood lintels. Datestone to first floor centre inscribed 1658/IA. Ironstone
and limestone quoins. Plinth: chamfered to street elevation. 3-light casements
to rear with wood lintels. 2-storey C20 extension to left. Interior has
ogee-stop-chamfered spine beam, chamfered spine beam and open fireplace with
cambered stop-chamfered bressumer.
