Farmhouse. C17, with C18 and C19 alterations. Coursed squared ironstone, slate
roofs, stone and brick end stacks, blue brick ridge stack. L-plan. 2 storeys and
attic. Main front, facing garden, has 6-panel double-leaf door to right of
centre, in moulded wood surround with overlight, timber lintel and open timber
porch. One-light window to right of door, a 3-light casement to left and 2-light
casement to first floor, all with timber lintels. Projecting wing to right has
one-light window near inner angle with timber lintel and has 3-light
hollow-chamfered stone mullion windows to ground and first floor, the former
with hood mould. This wing has been partly rebuilt and has C19 roof-line with
shallower pitch. Main range has chamfered plinth, quoins and stone-coped gables
with kneelers. Right end stack has pair of stone chimneys. Interior has
ogee-stop-chamfered spine beams.
