GV II

House. C17 with early C19 extensions and alterations. 2-unit plan with one-unit
addition. 2-storey, 3-window range. Coursed squared ironstone banded with
limestone to older portion, raising and addition of coursed limestone and
ironstone rubble, slate roof, brick end stacks. C20 6-panel part-glazed door
originally central, with concrete lintel and straight hood. Tripartite sash
windows to ground and first floors, all with concrete lintels except for that to
first floor left, flat-arched. Moulded rendered cornice and stone-coped gables
with kneelers. Left end bay is an addition; original core has ironstone quoins.
2 leaded casement windows to rear with old catches. Interior has
ogee-stop-chamfered spine beams.
