Manor House. Probably early C17 remodelled late C17. Ironstone ashlar with rendered plinth and plain-tile roof. L-shaped plan. Two storeys with attic.
Main front of two window range of C19 casements in original openings. Ground floor windows have flat stone arches with moulded cornice over; first floor windows have wood lintels. Early C19 central door has moulded wood doorcase and fanlight with glazing bars. Central half dormer has ashlar parapets and finial. Two roof dormers have C19 bargeboards. Ashlar gable parapets and kneelers with finials. Pairs of early C19 octagonal brick stacks at ends. Blank shield above entrance.
Interior not inspected but reputed to contain evidence of a central carriage arch.
Probably built as a Stewards House for Sir Christopher Hatton's estate. Castellated ironstone wall attached to north has a blocked opening with four-centred head.
