House. c.1700, Ironstone ashlar, tiled roof, flanking brick and stone stacks.
Lobby-entry plan. 2 storeys, cellar and attic, 5 bays. 2-light stone mullioned
windcw with square hood in left bay. Doorway to right of centre has stone lintel
and 4-panel part-glazed door with overlight. 3-light casement windows on either
side with wood lintels. Blocked-window with stone lintel in right bay. Similar
blocked window in right bay first flour. Other first-floor windows are of
2-lights with stone lintels and wood mullions and transoms. Coped gable ends
with kneelers. 2-light stone mullioned cellar window on left side. 2-light
window with stone mullions and transoms on first floor at rear. Interior:
Fireplace with plain stone lintel in ground floor room. Old stud partition in
hall. Similar partitions in attic. 0riqinal roof structure with tie beams and
purlins exposed in attic. C19/C20 staircase to first floor. Original winder
stairs to attic.
