Founded in 1671 by Thomas Cowley and originally in London Street. The two central
cottages here were built in 1788 at the expense of Richard Clark.
Centre part 1788. Two storeys red brick. Two two light casements. B between
storeys. Central Victorian tiled canopy on brackets over pained doors. Old tile roof.
End stacks. To right and left are matching one storey wings of evidently later date.
Each house has a matching casement and door under canopy, Hipped old tile roof.
