Dated 1637 in gable, Very low building of 2 storeys in coursed rubble with steep
stone slate roof, 1 C18 hipped bay of 2 storeys in ashlar with casement windows.
Low central doorway and very squat sash window to ground floor, which is about
2 ft below road level. The corner with East Road is greater than a right angle.
Small crude oriel to 1st floor of gable.
No 21 forms a group with Nos 2 to 6 (even) East Road.
