C17. Flint wtih brick dressings. Steep pantile roof with coped gable ends
and brick dentil eaves; 2 storeys and attic. Five bays. Irregularly-spaced
windows, some blocked, sashes with glazing bars, one with thick glazing bars,
3 on ground floor and one on 1st floor modern. One small C17 2-light casement
at centre 1st floor with ovolo moulded mullion. Four flat-roofed dormers,
2 at centre C18 with cornices and 3-light casements with glazing bars, the
one on left similar but modern, the one on-right modern without cornice. Brick
chimney stacks at centre and end.
Interior: ground floor large panelled room with fielded panelling and moulded
and chamfered beams, originally 3 rooms. Staircase tower at centre of rear
(north) containing early C17 staircase with heavy moulded balusters, moulded
rail and moulded string.
At west end lower section: 2 storeys and attic; C17; flint with brick dressings;
steep pantile roof with coped gabled ends; 2 C17 3-light casements with leaded
panes on 1st floor, modern 3-light sash to ground floor, C18 flat-roofed dormer
with cornice and 3-light casement.
