Farmhouse. Late C18. Red brick, roof hidden behind
crenellated parapet; brick stacks. Gothick. 3 storeys
with floor bands and moulded parapet band; 3 windows;
plate glass sashes with Gothick surrounds; canted bays
to left and right ground floor; central windows circular;
central 6 panelled door, the upper 2 panels glazed, within
a simple gabled porch. Designed as an eye-catcher for
Somerford Hall (qv).
