House, now offices. c1840, with mid C19 and C20 alterations
and additions. Ashlar, coursed squared stone and brick, with
hipped and gabled slate roofs and single gable and single rear
wall brick stacks.
Plinth, panelled angle pilasters, first floor band, deep
wooden eaves. 2 storeys; 3 window range. Windows are 12 pane
sashes with eared and shouldered architraves, those to the
ground floor Egyptian style. Slightly projecting centre with a
single window and below, a Doric portico with cornice and a
C20 panelled double door with overlight. Right return has 2
C20 windows on each floor and a hipped addition, single storey
plus basement. Left return has 2 C20 windows each floor, and
to left a set back 3 storey addition with pilastered doorcase.
Brick rear wings.
