GV II

House, now offices. c1840. Brick with ashlar dressings. Roof
not visible. Plinth, panelled corner pilasters with rusticated
bases and corniced capitals, first floor band, cornice. 3
storeys; 3 window range. Projecting centre under a pediment,
with a plain sash with moulded Egyptian style surround and
cornice. On each side, a similar sash with brick flat arch.
Above, 3 smaller plain sashes, the central one with moulded
surround, the outer ones with flat arches. Central
round-arched rusticated doorcase with moulded 4-panel door and
fanlight. On each side, a plain sash with flat arch. To right,
set back coped wall with board door. To left, single storey
flat-roofed addition with single sash. At rear, cast-iron
balcony to right. INTERIOR not inspected.
