Sunshelter, now cafe. 1924 by Sir John Burnet. Rendered with pantiled roof. Quadrant with side pavilions. One storey with nine bay arcade of Doric columns in antis, with frieze, projecting modillion eaves cornice, projecting pavilions with return hipped roofs, the arcade divided into three by projecting centre piece with parapet. Boarded doors and flanking lights in pavilions, the doorways with cornices. Metal traceried French doors and rectangular fanlights in each bay of arcade. Service block projecting on rear elevation.
Part of Sir John Burnet's Westcliff improvements, paired with similar quadrant pavilion and bandstand (now boating pond - See separate items).
