Former cotton mill. Late C18 for Sir Robert Peel. Red brick. Plain
tile roof. Aligned east-west facing north. 3 storeys; 19 bays, cast
iron glazing bar windows with central pivoted section, the ground and
first floor windows have segmental heads. Inserted vehicle entrance
to second bay from the left. Built in 2 phases, the 8 left hand bays
came first.
