Dated 1866. Formerly the water tower of Bass's Old Brewery. A massive tower
of red brick, rectangular on plan and rising in 5 stages; stone stringcourses;
a semi-circular headed window with triple arched lights to each stage except
the topmost, which has blind arches with stone corbelled cornice and stepped
parapet with tablet inscribed with above date. Deeply recessed arched doorway
on west side.
