C18. Brick. Plain-tiled roof. Street frontage rendered. Street elevation
two storeys, remainder one storey. Street elevation four bays wide:
Casements: ground floor modern. Malthouse and kiln project to rear. Brick
dentilled eaves cornice. Kiln roof is hipped with louvred vents. Furnace removed
but iron joists of floor survive. The oldest known malthouse in Burton and a
rare survival of a small malthouse in Staffordshire.
