Large early C19 house with mid-C19 alterations and additions.
South-east garden front the original house is a stuccoed 1:3:1 bay block, the centre
projecting, and has a low pitched hipped slate roof with wide eaves. Sash windows
without glazing bars in moulded architraves. In mid-C19 a colonnade was added to
the ground floor with a balcony above and a pedimented doorway at the centre.
Mid-C19 additions flanking and projecting with canted 2-storey bays, rusticated and
pilastered ground floors and cornices and parapets.
