Farmhouse. Early C19 with early C20 alterations. Red brick; low-pitched
hipped slate roof with broad soffit; 6 brick ridge stacks. T-shaped plan.
Front elevation of 2 storeys and 3 windows; glazing bar sashes; central
entrance in single-storey hipped porch; pilaster breaks at angles; 4-panel
door with overlight. The rear range and entrance to the building lie on
the east facing the farmyard (q.v.); this wing of 5 small-pane top-hung
casement windows has 3 entrances to the ground floor, presumably for staff
use. The house was built as part of a model farm complex to Dunstall Hall
(q.v.).
