Red brick; slate roof; end stacks; rectangular compacted U-plan with adjoining rear wings. 2-storey, 3-window front; glazing bar sashes with painted keystone heads; central entrances; flat-roofed single-storey porch; Tuscan doorcase; double part-glazed doors. The house is set well back with, as the name implies, a magnificent cedar lending a parkland air to the group formed by the house, stable and carriage shed (qv). The latter pair are set on the lane frontage.
