Large house. Mid-C19 refacing, possibly to earlier core, with late C19
alterations and substantial additions. Rendered brickwork; tiled roof
(part obscured behind parapet). 2-storey front in 2 parts: to right
mid-C19 block of 4 windows framed by octagonal turret-like pilasters
and with plinth and raised bands at first floor and ceiling level; deep
crenellated parapet; Tudor-arched 2-light stone mullioned casement windows;
with leaded panes; to left L-shaped late C19 or early C20 wing of 4 sash
windows; widely projecting gable of 2 windows and centre stack to extreme
left. The style of the mid-C19. front is continued for 2 bays to the right
and the entrance is situated in a single-storey porch (also with turret
pilasters) immediately to the rear of this and backed against a possibly
earlier but refaced wing of 2 Tudor-arched windows.
