900mm high and domed at head; convex plaque set below head, divided
down centre and inscribed on left "SHARDLOW/14/MILES" and on right
"PRESTON/BROOK/76/MILES"; quatrefoil-shaped inscription on base of
shaft "R & D/STONE/ 1819".
