School chapel. 1875-81. By Richard Herbert Carpenter and Benjamin Ingelow. Red brick with ashlar dressings, plain tile roof with alternate crested ridge tiles and coped verges.
Five bay nave with semi-octagonal chancel, two bay western block with semi-octagonal projection to west end, Gothic style. Nave and chancel to right have long two-light windows placed high, with rounded trefoiled heads and plate-traceried quatrefoil over, coped plinth sill band continued to first floor windows of western block, and moulded eaves course. Western block to left has four-light windows with rounded trefoil heads; Western projection has single light cusped and pointed windows and hipped roof. Interior not inspected.
