House. Dated 1619, restored mid C20 by F.W.B Charles. Timber framed on brick plinth, partly replaced with brick; plain tile roofs; brick ridge stack and brick integral end stack.

Roughly L-shape plan; two bay crosswing and two bay hall range. Gabled crosswing of two storeys and attic to left with bracketed jetties, slightly lower gabled bay of two storeys and attic to left of centre, and one storey with attic hall range to right; four window front, C20 mullioned windows, those to ground floor and first floor of wing are tripartite and the central window of the latter is bracketed, two gabled dormers to right with C20 top-hung casements; doors to right of centre and left of centre.

Framing: mainly close studding interrupted by middle rails; straight tension braces to upper floor of east elevation, the upper floors of the gabled fronts are decorated with lozenges, parallel struts and wavy struts.

The restoration has highlighted the interest and importance of this substantial town house.
