House. Early C17. Timber framed; plain tile roof; brick central
stack. T-shaped plan, main range aligned north-south, rear wing
aligned east-west. 2 storeys and gable-lit attic, ovolo-moulded
bresummer to jettied first floor carried on moulded brackets; closely
spaced studs with middle rail to both storeys; 3 windows, latticed
casements, some with baluster shaped studs below; central nail studded
door with ogee head. End roof trusses have 2 collars, one pair of
purlins and a ridge piece. Interior not inspected but probably of
interest. A well preserved example of a substantial C17 farmhouse.
