Farmhouse. Early C19. Stucco lined as ashlar; hipped slate roof oversailing the eaves; ashlar integral end stacks. Aligned north-west/south-east facing south-west and rear wing aligned north-east/south-west incorporating stables.
Two storeys; three bays, glazing bar sashes with horns; central six-panelled door with rectangular overlight, Tuscan porch with ball finials. North-west front: main house to right, rear wing to left. Main house: two bays, glazing bar sashes with horns; single storey porch to left with ball finials and reused C16 windows from Throwley Old Hall (q.v.) to the sides. Rear wing: coursed and squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings; hipped plain tile roof. Two storeys; two bays, chamfer mullioned windows to first floor, the left hand window has three lights, the right hand window has two lights; two stable doors to centre, inserted window to left, inserted garage door to right.
Throwley Hall is part of a picturesque grouping of buildings including Throwley Old Hall (q.v.) and Throwley Barracks (q.v.).
