Barn and stable. Early C19. Coursed and dressed stone; blue machine
tile roofs; verge parapets. Large 'U'-shaped plan with limbs of unequal
length; 2-level plan of hay lofts over stables and byre. Centre section:
3 boarded hay loft doors, large C20 sliding door to left and six C20
top-hung casement windows of differing sizes running across front to
boarded door at right. Left return has 2 hay loft doors; full-height
segmental-arched entry against return angle; lower blocked similar
arch to centre, now with stable door and window; C20 casement to left
and 2 doors, adjacent to cart entry; shorter return to right with one
hay loft door; arch-head entry to through-passage against return angle
and C20 casement window and stable door to right. Symmetrical arrange-
ment of pigeon nesting boxes in gable end apex of 3 tiers.
