TL 87 NW ELVEDEN ELVEDEN PARK

House, formerly rectory. Mid C18, with late C19 alterations. 2 storeys and
attics. 3 windows; set-back flanking lean-to wings 1 window wide. Redbrick
with random burnt headers; string at 1st floor and dentil course at eaves.
Hipped plaintiled roof with gabled dormers, the bargeboards having fretted
soffits. Rear C19 chimneys of red brick. Small-pane sash windows with flush
frames. Flanking the entrance is a pair of hipped plaintiled 1-storey C19 bay
windows; small-pane sashes with side-lights. Mid C18 entrance doorway with 6
fielded-panelled door, moulded architrave, and pediment on console brackets.
The flanking wings are of C18, with curved C19 parapets and slated roofs; C18
small-pane sash windows with a small circular window lighting the attic above.
To the rear is a large C19 service wing of 2 storeys; flint rubble with red
brick quoins, hipped pantiled roof.
