A timber-framed and plastered building, probably of C16 origin but refronted
in the C18. A wing extends to the north-east on Butchers Lane with a
carriage entrance at the south-west end and a jettied upper storey on
exposed joists. There is some exposed timber-framing. Two storeys.
Two window range on Broad Street, of double-hung sashes with glazing
bars and a small central modern window on the ground storey. Roof tiled.
