A timber-framed building of C15-C16 origin, refronted in late C18 or
early C19 white brick. Roof tiled. Two storeys. Five window range
of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. A canopy (partly glazed) extends
across the front. Ridge chimney stack and external chimney stack at
the east end. The interior has some heavy closely spaced ceiling beams
and joists. The house stands on a moated site (square).
