Originally a C15 hall house but altered when the floor was inserted and
the roof heightened and continued across the wings. Roof tiled. The
original roof structure remains and there is a cambered and braced tie
beam and crown post. Renovated. Two storeys. Four window range of
modern casements with leaded lights. There is an old arched doorway
with boarded door. The interior retains the original screen passage.
The outbuilding to the north is now under restoration and the heavy timber-framing
is exposed. It was formerly used as a wheelwrights shop.
