A medieval timber-framed building refronted in the C18 in red brick,
with a plastered parapet and a wood modillion cornice. Roof tiled, hipped
at the north and south ends. Two storeys and cellars. Six window range
(grouped 1:5) of double-hung sashes with single vertical glazing bars,
in flush cased frames. The ground storey has a former C19 small shop
window with glazing bars at the south end and at the north end there
is a splayed bay. A 6-panel door with semi-circular fanlight with ornamental
glazing has a wood doorcase with deep reveals, panelled pilasters and
an open pediment, another doorway to the south has a moulded architrave
ornamental frieze and cornice. There are gables at the rear and the
interior has an C18 staircase.
