House, now subdivided into two. Probably C17, refronted early C19. Timber-framed
cased in white brick. Plain tile roof, red brick stack. 2 storeys, three 1st
floor windows. Half-glazed door to right in fluted architrave with hood. 16-pane
sash under keyed wedge lintel and garage doors to left. C20 casement with glazing
bars under segmental arch to No 7 with C20 glazed door to left under cambered
arch. 12-pane sashes in reveals with sills to 1st floor. Corniced stack to rear
roof pitch. Former police station. Included for group value. Interior not
inspected.
