The crossing of the river Brett south of the town. Red brick. Said
to be C14, and some of the brick and stone construction of obviously early
date. The north-west side a good deal restored and renewed. There are 3
slightly pointed arches, and on the south-east side there are 4 internal
ribs. There is a low parapet each side with brick tile cope, finished at
each end with octagonal brick pier with later iron cap and ball finial.
