The original C16-C17 timber-framed and plastered house was burnt down in
the C19 and almost completely rebuilt in flint with precast stone quoins
and dressings. There are gabled cross wings at the east and west ends.
2 storeys and attics. 1:3:1 window range, casements. A gabled porch projects
on the front. Roof tiled, with 2 tall chimney stacks with attached diagonal
shafts.
