A C16-C17 timber-framed house restored and renovated in the C20 with the
timber-framing exposed on all fronts. Some of it is renewed. There is
diagonal bracing on the upper storey which shows a particular East Anglian
practice of tenoning the brace into the upright stud rather than into
the bressummer. 2 storeys. 3 window range C20 casements with lattice
leaded lights. Roof tiled (old tiles) steeply pitched. The south-west
end is mainly rebuilt.
