A C16-C17 timber-framed and plastered house with a cross wing at the south-west
end. 2 storeys. The upper storey is jettied on the whole south-east
front and the gable of the north-east end is jettied on shaped and carved
brackets. The windows are casements. Roof tiled, with a good central
chimney stack with 4 grouped octagonal shafts with moulded caps and bases,
on a square base. At the south-west end there is a tall external chimney
stack with 2 short octagonal stacks with moulded caps and bases. The
interior has exposed timber-framing. The house has been renovated and
restored (1975).
