Pair of cottages. Possibly C16, altered C17. Rubble stone,
single-Roman tiled roof, formerly thatched, coped verges and brick
stack to right of centre. Single-storey and attic, 3-window.
Planked door in gabled porch to left with 2-light casement to left
and 3-light ovolo-mullioned casement with hoodmould to right, flint
and stone projection with offset to right, possibly for bread oven,
2-light fixed window to right. Attic has one C19 gabled attic
dormer with 2-light casement. Right return has 3-light leaded
casement and blocked chamfered light to left, 2-light recessed
chamfered mullioned casement to first floor, chamfered loft vent.
Left return in flint and stone chequers has C20 small sash to
ground floor, 3-light recessed chamfered mullioned casement to
attic. Rear lean-to extension. Interiors not accessible at time
of survey (April 1987).
