Detached cottage across yard from The Brewhouse and stables (q.v).
Mid C17. Chequered dressed limestone with rubblestone, tiled
hipped roof. 2-storey, 5-windowed; casements. Central C20 door in
chamfered stone case, two hollow-chamfered cross windows either
side. Moulded string course to first floor; five 2-light recessed
hollow-chamfered mullioned casements. Left return has 1-light
recessed hollow-chamfered casement to first floor. Rear rebuilt
with C20 central door, C20 4-light casements either side and five
2-light casements to first floor. Attached to left return is
former ice house with wide chamfered stone doorway, planked door
down six stone steps in gabled brick porch, interior has segmental
brick vaulted ceiling.
Interior of house entirely altered in 1970's.
