Two cottages in row. C17. Timber framed wth colourwashed
infilling. Thatched roof. Single storey and attic, part 2 storey,
later all raised to 2 storeys. Four bays. Framing 4 panels high,
much altered. Part glazed 6-panel doors. Four canted bays to
ground floor, 3-light casement windows to upper floor. Brick
stacks at gables and on party wall. Roof partly hipped. Original
building of 2 bays, extended both ends later in C17, C20 extensions
to rear. It occupies a significant position at the centre of the
town.
