Early to mid C19. Painted brick front with canted corner to Windmill Lane. Welsh
slated roof with paired bracketed eaves cornice. 3 storeys on left with full height
wooden canted bay window, sashes, moulded cornices and glazing bars to upper windows.
Single storey wing on right, former coach house, has central round carriageway
arch flanked by blocked round window arch on right, similar pedestrian entrance
arch on left, all with keystones.

No 1 forms a group with No 20A and Nos 20 to 25 (consec) Market Place.
