House. Late C17; upper part altered and possibly partly rebuilt c19. Irregular
bond brick with sandstone plinths alternating quoins and string course.
Plain-tile half-hipped roof has brick-corbelled gables. Brick panelled ridge
stack, of 2 panels to front and one to sides, has dog-tooth string course.
2-unit lobby entry plan, 2 storeys and attic; 4-window range. Third bay has
flush 6-panelled door in sandstone bolection-moulded doorcase with pulvinated
frieze and cornice. Ground floor has moulded stone cross windows throughout.
First floor has C20 two-light windows. Quoins to right are partly rendered,
Small low one-storey range on right. Left return side is a 2-window range.
Interior has winder stairs. Room to right has open fireplace with fire window
and chartered bressumer. Stepped-stop broad-chamfered ceiling bean. Room to left
has ceiling beam.
