Former farmhouse. Late C17/early C18 with some C19 alterations. Flemish bond
brick with string courses, brick rusticated alternating quoins and dentil
cornice. Old plain-tile hipped roof; two C19 brick ridge stacks. U-plan with
wings to rear. 3 storeys; 5-window range. Symmetrical front has C19/C20
seven-panelled door with C19/C20 plain-tile hipped hood on simple brackets.
Flanking windows. Ground floor has sashes with painted rendered lintels
throughout. First floor has C19 cross windows. and central 3.-light window with
top lights, all with horizontal glazing bar and brick flat arches, Low second
floor has 2-light cross-glazed casements immediately above string course to
second, third and fourth bays. Right return side has 3. blocked 2-light stone
mullioned basement windows. Rear has 3 half-hipped gables. Interior: hall has
open fireplace with moulded cornice, and ogee stop-chamfered ceiling beam.
