House converted to bars and restaurant. Late C18/early C19 with mid Cl9 addition
to left. Brick with whitewashed rendered front and painted moulded wood cornice.
Did plain-tile roofs; two C19 brick ridge stacks. L-plan with wing to rear. 3
storeys, 3-window range; 2-stormy one-window addition. Regular Rain range has
6-panelled door, overlight with glazing bars and panelled reveals, and rendered
Tuscan porch of pilasters and columns. Ground floor has canted bay windows with
sashes. First floor has 20-pane and central 16-pane sashes and 2-light casement
with glazing bars to right. Second floor has l0-pane and central 8-pane sashes,
Addition in left has doorway with wood pilaster strips, simple consoles and
cornice. 2-light casement with glazing bars, and 16-pane sash above. Rear wing
has some segmental-arched iron windows, Interior not inspected.
