Barn and stables and attached cartshed and cowhouse, approx. 30m S of The Hollies Farmhouse

Barn incorporating stables, and cartshed and cowhouse. Early to mid C19. Red and
blue brick and plain-tile roof. Barn and stables aligned north-south facing
east, with cartshed attached to the south on the same alignment and cow-house to
the south-west on an east-west alignment. Single-storey threshing floor bay
flanked by a pair of stables with lofts over. Toothed eaves band. 3 bays:
central double-leaf barn door with a stable door and loft hatch to each side;
all openings have segmental heads. The loft of the left hand bay has 2 tiers of
air vents. Single-storey cart shed attached to the left with main doors to the
left hand gable. Interior: king-post roof trusses over the barn and stable
block. The single-storey cowhouse to the rear has 3 roof bays and 2 roof trusses
with cambered tie beams and raking struts extending to the principal rafters.
