5/14 The Manor House
II
House, formerly 2 cottages. C17. Timber framed with brick
noggings and thatched roof. South end rebuilt in brick in C19, and
house extended c1960 into former timber framed barn at north end.
Single storey and attic, 4 bays and barn of 3 bays. Entrance to
rear. Framing 2 panels high with corner braces. Rebuilt section 2
storeys 2 bays with blocked central entrance and canted flat topped
bays to ground floor, all with decorative leaded glazing. Central
stack and stack added to right gable.
