Farmhouse, now house. Late C17 and C18. Sarsen rubble, extended
in chalkstone. Thatched roof. Two storeys, 4 bays. Central
section has half glazed door to through stair hall, with parlour at
left and service rooms to right. Left bay rewindowed in C19, now
timber casements. Right bay-has bead-moulded stone 3-light windows
with leaded metal casements. Moulded straight labels. Gable
stacks to first build. l½ bay extension to left, probably C18,
extending services, now dining room, and kitchen in end half bay.
Roof hipped over left bay, which also has single storey outbuilding
to rear.
Interior: stack in parlour bears date 1694.
